Its sammi axles. Locked f&r, shaved housings, 1.6 tracker motor. Still spring under and stock 3.73s. He slipped alot.of.clutch, and his srarter got a work out

After this trip coil springs, tcase gears and cushy seats are in the plans.

Watched videos 2,3,4 - that pooooor Sami - reminded me of the 1990s decade when I had no tcase gears - I left ring+pinion alone since 5:1 tcase gears were enough.
And since 1989 Ive broken 8 Sami front axle-shafts (birfield-rings didn't stop inners from exploding) - got chromoly few years ago - no issues since.

He has tcase gears for it but ran out of time to install. Theyll be in before its next trip. His clutch wasnt happy at all and the starter was used alot. But it made the entire journey.
