    New signs @ quarry!

Seen um saturday 8/22 thay are nailed to the brown foresty sign and starting there are nailed to the trees ever 25 yards or so but ONLY on the RIGHT side as you head to quarry trail. on our way back we stopped at the horse trail that cuts over to beard and there nailed up down there to. Thay dont say any thing about trucks/jeeps or trespassing! I think it is just something thay do after logging has been done???? i dunno! quarry rd/trail should still be legal as long as your rig is "tags, ins, ect, an atvs have a sticker" an yer not off the 30 foot/15' either side of center of road. CORRECT ?? crappy cell phone pic sry, that # is 1-304-269-4831 i called it but got no anwser thay was closed i also googled the 3 names and didnt get much other than a land transfer in 02 about the furance.

    Thanks for the info!

You asked "CORRECT??" - the only way to find out whats legal is to call the Vinton County Engineers office, and ask if Quarry & Beard roads are still open to the public (ie. make sure they have not been 'vacated'). Use the Vinton map (its on this site somewhere) to get the road numbers & names,
so the Enginner can research them (Ill put the numbers & names in the 'Ohio 4x4 Trailriders Forum' area).
If they ARE still open, then call the Vinton County Sheriffs office and ask about ATVs/quads, since they do not have license-plates but you want to ride them on Quarry & Beard roads. May need to contact Ohio Wildlife to hear their opinion on ATVs too, since they wrote those tickets last time.

    Thumbs up

Just got call from Chris at Landmark. They are trying to keep the people on the main road and keep them from destroying the private property any more than it is. That is it. They don't care about us as long as we stay on main path.

I don't think that's really the point of this thread.
