Exclamation 2000 ford ranger 4x4 off road package

got a 2000 Ranger 4x4 and just wondering what all needs to be done if I want to lift it about 3 inches. Do brake lines need to be moved, will the front axles be ok, etc. etc. It is stock right now with stock 33 inch tires.

i have a 3" body lift. the parking brake cable has to be moved but the kit came with a bracket. with the body lift your axles will not be changed. i did it by myself in about 8 hours. pretty easy

How did you fit a 33 under a stock Ranger? I had a 94 that I had to put a 3 inch lift on just to clear them an then if I hit hard stuff turning it still rubbed. Sawzall fixed that issue though.

Cool I was curious. I thought that sounded kind of odd. Surprised no one else here caught that.

I wouldn't exactly call Rangers "popular" amongst the folks on this board, so I'm not all that surprised. Most on here who want a truck go with a full-sized; typically 3/4 ton so it is good for tow-rig use.

I personally wouldn't mind having a compact truck for a daily driver again, though.
