    2018 - April 14th Novice Ride

Ohio 4x4 Trailriders : Novice Ride.

This ride will focus on street legal jeeps, etc and drivers with limited off-road experience. We encourage participation from anyone with a stock to mildly modified 4x4 vehicle (for example 31 - 33 inch tires on a short wheelbase vehicle – full size trucks do not do well). No ATVs/quads, Side-by-Sides, etc.

Activities will include a tech inspection to verify the street/trail worthiness of the vehicle, recovery demonstration/discussions, trail first aid, and a tread lightly discussion, followed by an easy trail ride.

Those wishing to participate are encouraged to register early as the ride will be limited to 40 participants. Specific ride information will be sent to pre-registered participants only.

Ohio 4x4 Trailriders have a zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use on the trail, or prior to the event. Anyone found with drugs or alcohol will be asked to leave and not permitted to participate with the club in the future.

This ride will be on Saturday 9:00 A.M. until approximately 4:00 P.M. If you are interested in registering for this ride please fill out the online form at:

We would like to emphasize that this is a novice event. If you are a more experienced driver and/or have a modified rig, the club allows non-members to participate in a normal club ride in order for you to get a feel for a "normal" club ride. Our trail rides are always on the 2nd Saturday of every month. If you would like information on a "normal" club ride please message one of the club members or officers or the club site.

If you have any questions regarding the novice ride please contact the ride coordinator or one of the Ohio 4x4 Trailriders officers.

We look forward to seeing you on the trails....
